DVD label and case for Herman E. Detering III of Piney Creek Farms, for his instructional video on “Piney Creek Farms”.

DVD label and case

We worked with Herman E. Detering III of Piney Creek Farms on a number of projects, including his instructional video on “Low Stress Cattle Handling”, for which we designed a DVD label and case. As a rancher, Herman became involved with studies of animal psychology and methods of natural, non-coercive horsemanship. Adapting these methods to cattle, he pioneered low stress handling for ranchers, regularly writing articles for major publications including The Cattleman and The American Brahman Review. His video, “Natural Persuasion,” was a first in the field of low-stress herd management and remains a classic. View a copy of the business card we also designed for Herman.
